Not a day goes by where I don't miss you or think about you.  Kyle is growing up so fast and quickly growing into a young man.  He shaved for the first time.  It was so emotional. We use to laugh about who was going to have those "grown up" conversations with him.  I still can't life and all the moments without you.  Miss you beyond words

I can't believe how I just found out about this news tonight. It's such disbelief. John was loved by so many such a wonderful caring person. Always smiling. I go back to 5th grade memories with him at loggers run. You are truly missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family. I am so sorry, God bless.

Olivia talks about you almost every day. She said "mommy, I miss Johnny Boy. Let's go get him and bring him back". I said I wish we could, honey. You are so loved by so many. Miss you more than words could ever express. RIP cousin.

John in Heaven, I pray every day that you protect Kyle and his Mother, and that Kyle grows wise and smiles everyday. I still can't believe this is true.  John wasn't just my son's father but my best friend.  He was such a compassionate, caring father and friend.  We've done a great job raising our son teaching him how to live, but how do I begin to teach Kyle how to live life without you.  My heart breaks that you were in so much pain.  I'd do anything to bring you back. You will always be Kyle's hero.  Love you so much.

This is getting much harder as the terrible shock wears off. I'm having trouble holding it together. But, you were my best friend and Bash brother and from that I have the most incredible memories. I love you brother and will see you again someday.

John, I will always remember how you took me under your wing when I moved to Florida.  I was a new kid in a new school and you introduced me to so many people making me feel right at home.  You were a great cousin and you will never be forgotten.  Love you always cuz.

While I am truly sad, I feel blessed to have known John.  As a Police Officer, he stands out as one who did what he did for all the right reasons.  I will never forget his amazing interactions with our young people.  The last time I saw him was at a Kids & Cops Workshop and he was about to take a group of boys from Pleasant City to a Heat game.
My condolences to the Scollo family.  John will be missed, but never forgotten.
Rest in Peace, John.  I am sure that you are once again smiling that BIG smile for the angels!

I so clearly remember the  moment I had the pleasure to meet John. Realizing, right away, that underneath his big, strong exterior was a kind, humble man. I was greeted with his big, bright smile and warm, friendly hug. I knew instantly he was a special man and understood why he was loved by everyone! Extending my deepest sympathy to the Scollo family and John's beautiful friend, Katrina, who was always there for him through the thick and thin.  Praying God give you much peace, comfort, and strength during this difficult time.

Johnny boy, my handsome nephew, you will forever be in my heart, holding that special place reserved for you. On this earth you were surrounded by so many that love you, and now your mom has you in her arms with the most powerful love! God bless you my nephew, I love you!

I didn't know John personally, but have seen him around at City Hall in WPB. He seemed like a genuine guy and that's what I hear from those who knew him. My heart goes out to his son and the rest of his family. I pray that they find peace and comfort during this very difficult time.

John has been a part of our family for a long time.  He knows me, my mother and my siblings. We spent many  wonderful times together.  Not only was he a good friend, but he was  loyal and a fun to be around.  I will miss all the times we spent together.  His memory will remain with us -forever..

I only met John once, but I was amazed at his charisma.  He never met a stranger.  To my sweet friend Rosenary, I am praying for you.  I know how important your family is to you.  Draw on the love and support from your friends, family, and your faith community to get you through this dark time.

At our home in Freeport years ago, I remember Maryann sitting on the couch with Young Rosemary next to her, then Young John would walk in with his giant smile and sit next to his mother. Suddenly the entire room would light up by three smiles like one. Outside I liked watching how John rushed to walk by his mother's side.......

My thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time. I was privileged to have known John. We played many softball games together and was always the person smiling. John actually helped me greatly in a dark time for me along with a buddy of ours, Brandon. I wish I could have uttered the words to John that he said to me multiple times to get me through my tough times. You will be missed John.
