George S. Guerriero

George Salvatore Guerriero was born on November 4, 1931 in Cranford, New Jersey to Nicholas and Josephine Guerriero. During the years of 1956-1958, he served our country with the United States Army. George married the love of his life, Wilma and together they had four children. They spent most of their years together in Jacksonville, FL and were very active in their church, Holy Spirit Catholic Church. His career was spent working as an automobile mechanic for large car dealerships. At the onset of George's illness, he and Wilma made a decision to move to Deerfield Beach, Florida. In South Florida, they joined the parish of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Boca Raton. On May 21, 2011, George went home to his Lord while under Hospice care at home. George is survived by his wife, Wilma and their children, Judy, Gerry (Judith), Louis (Karen), and Nicki. Also left to cherish his memory are his grandchildren, Stacy, Sam, Nicholas, Christina, and Partick. Friends may call from 2-4 & 6-8 PM on Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at Babione Funeral Home, West Chapel. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30AM on Wednesday, May 25, 2011 at Our Lady of Lourdes. Burial will follow at South Florida National Cemetery. Arrangements under the direction of Babione Funeral Home, Boca Raton, FL.
