Born in Brooklyn NY, she was the daughter of William Joseph and Hannah (Shaud) Barton.
Christine was a graduate of Bishop McDonnell High School. She was employed by the United States Postal Service and retired from an executive position in 2010 following 30 years of service. During her 30 years with the United States Postal Service, she held various postmaster positions in Delray Beach, FL; Salisbury, MD; and Alexandria, LA. She received a Masters of Social Work from Florida Atlantic University in 2013. She then began working as a licensed therapist in various rehabilitation settings and eventually had her own private practice.
Christine enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her husband, children and grandchildren. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and wife. She adored her two furry companions, Princess and Coco Chanel. She was a beautiful person and a gracious host that loved to entertain family and friends in her home. Christine had a talent for interior design. Every detail in her home spoke of her impeccable taste and creativity. Her journey through life was marked by a passionate pursuit of knowledge and a drive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those around her. Christine excelled in academics and had undeniable intelligence. An avid learner and quick-witted woman, Christine always strived to succeed and inspired others through her dedication to hard work.
She is survived by her husband, William G. Quinn Sr.; her brother, William Barton (Debbie) of Delray Beach, FL; and her children: Christopher Haggerty (Erin) of Brooklyn, NY; Heather Echagarrua of Deerfield Beach, FL; Sandra Senker (Michael Sr.) of Hernando Beach, FL; William G Quinn Jr. (Laurie) of Tarpon Springs, FL; in addition to her grandchildren: Connor Simmons, Andrew Echagarrua, Seamus Haggerty, Hunter Quinn (Sofia), Hallie Quinn, Ashley Senker, Micheal Senker Jr., Kelly Senker and her great grandchildren: Marli Faivre, Fynn Faivre.
A wake will be held on Tuesday, January 2nd, 2024 at Babione Kraeer Funeral Parlor (1100 N Federal Hwy, Boca Raton, FL) from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm for family members and from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm for friends/guests. The Funeral Procession will meet on Wednesday, January 3rd, 2024 from 10:00 am to 10:30 am at Babione Kraeer Funeral Parlor. Mass will be at 11:00 am at Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church (370 SW 3rd Street, Boca Raton, FL) and following, at 12:00 noon, Christine will be laid to rest at Boca Raton Mausoleum (451 SW 4th Avenue, Boca Raton, FL).
