Cecilia Felipe

Cecilia Felipe, lovingly known as Mamá, passed away on July 25, 2024, at the age of 82. She was born on January 2, 1942, in the Dominican Republic and most recently resided in Tamarac, FL in a memory care facility. Cecilia was a devoted mother of four children Jose Luis, Fiordaliza, Juan Manuel, and Marcos; survived by her remaining children, Fiordaliza and Marcos. Cecilia was also a loving grandmother and is survived by her grandchildren Manny, Brendon, Juston, Annie and Alyssa.

Cecilia’s greatest joys in life were spending time with lots of family around her and being a foster parent. She loved spending time at the beach whenever she had the chance. She was a giver; provided a home for many who were without a place to stay and in need. She had an unwavering love for the Catholic Church and most times carried her rosary. Her dedication to her spirituality and commitment to her faith were an integral part of her life.

She was a tenacious woman who endured a lot of challenges in her early years. Those experiences made her strong-willed and fervent for who she loved and what she believed.

She would want nothing more than for us to unite, share memories, and celebrate her life.
