Anthony Marullo was born March 9th, 1930 in Newburgh NY. He attended NFA high School and RCA College in New York City. After high school Anthony served in the US Navy during the Korean war as a teletype repairman where he spent 14 months in the South Pacific. 1952, Anthony returned home where he met his future wife, Filomena DiSalvo.
He worked several years at RCA, before joining IBM in Poughkeepsie, New York, where worked for 33 years as an Electricial Engineer and a Purchasing manager.
In 1969 he relocated to Boca Raton Florida with his wife and 4 children. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Filomena, his daughters Florence Batzer, Jessie Mac Gilvray and sons Daniel, and Frank; 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Anthony was an active member of the Nights of Columbus of the 4th degree, Sirrera club and a long time member and usher at Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church. Anthony attended the Honor Flight program for Veterans in April 2018.
The viewing is Wednesday March 4th, 2-4PM and 6-8PM at Babione Kraeer Funeral home, 1100 N. Federal Hwy in Boca Raton.
The funeral Mass will be held at 11AM Thursday March 5th, at Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church, 370 SW 3rd St. Boca Raton.
He was a loving husband, father, brother, brother in law, "Poppy", uncle and friend and will be missed very much by all.
In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations made to "Feed the Children".
