Velma married Harold E. Hamm, who proceeded her in death. She was employed by Sarkes Tarzan for 27 years and also worked for MCCSC later in life.
Velma is survived by daughters Tammy (Gary) Barger, Sandy Imhausen, son Keith Hamm. Grandsons Shawn and Jonathan Barger and Brad Imhausen. Granddaughters Sheri, and Kerri Hamm and Shannon Hitchcock and many great grandchildren.
Velma was proceeded in death by her husband and parents, infant son Gerald Lee Hamm, son, Kedrin Hollars, infant grandson Harold Gene Hamm. Brothers, Berlin, Bert and Noble Hawkins and Sister Rowena Cowden.
Services will be held at 1:00pm, on Thursday December, 19 2024 in Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home 4150 E 3rd Street Bloomington, IN 47401. Prior to the service visitation will be held from 11:00am-1:00pm. Burial will be held at Harmony Cemetery following service.
