Rick Eugene Coulter

Rick Eugene Coulter, age 67, of Bedford, Indiana, died Friday, May 7, 2021 at I.U. Health; Bloomington Hospital. Born August 22, 1953 in Bloomington, he was the son of John David and Esther (Bennett) Coulter. Rick was a U.S. Air Force veteran and worked as an electrician and HVAC technician where he was a member of the I.B.E.W. Local 16. He was also a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles where he loved to pitch horseshoes and attended the Apostolic Bible Church.
Rick is survived by his loving wife, Patsy (Taylor) Coulter, of Bedford; three step-sons, John (Rhonda) Thomas, Jr., of Bedford, Robert (Lisa) Thomas, of Chandler, Indiana and Chet (Ashley) Thomas, of Bloomington, one step-daughter, Kathy (Paul) Brown, of Solsberry; two step-daughters-in-law, Mary Hawkins, of Bloomington and Paula Thomas, of Bedford, one sister, Brenda Morgan, of Bedford, thirteen step-grandchildren and twenty step-great-grandchildren.
Rick was preceded in death by his parents, one step-son, Larry Hawkins, three sisters and one brother.
The funeral service will be at 12 noon Friday at the Apostolic Bible Church in Bloomington with Rev. Duane Coffman officiating. Burial will follow in Clover Hill Cemetery in Harrodsburg with the Monroe Veterans Honor Guard providing military honors. Friends may visit the family on Friday at the church from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon.
Memorial contributions may be given to the church in memory of Rick.
