Randolph Hagey Alderson, Sr.

Born in Santa Barbara, California to Howard "Scott" and Doris (Hagey) Alderson, he lived most of his life in Ventura, California. He met his beloved Jacquie in Ojai, California and they were married in 1976. Randy retired from Mehle Printing before moving with Jacquie to Indiana in 2020. He attended and was a member of the Bloomington Free Methodist Church.

Randy's three boys, Randy Jr, Nate, and Nick, along with his 11 grandchildren, were the lights of his life. He loved camping, taking drives, and any activities that involved spending time with his family and others he loved. Randy's love for Jesus was apparent and he praised and thanked God for his life until the very end.

Randy is survived by his wife Jacquie, sons Randy (Kristi) Alderson Jr of Gosport IN, Nate (Kristen) Alderson of Santa Clarita CA, and Nick (Jennifer) Alderson of Ventura CA; grandkids Levi, Conrad, Annie, Rayne, Holiday, Clayton, Scarlet, Walter, Otis, Mabel, and Caliana Alderson. He was proceeded in death by his parents Scott Sr and Doris, brother Scotty Alderson Jr, nephew Scotty III, and numerous aunts and uncles.

The family would like to thank Dr James Butler, the surgical team at IU Health Bloomington Hospital, and Jennifer RN with SouthernCare Hospice for their care and compassion over the past couple of months.

Memorial contributions in Randy's name can be made to Hannah's House Bloomington, IN.

A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
