Nancy Dell Poteet Arbuckle, 85, of Bloomington and Apache Junction, Arizona died unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 22, 2022 in I.U. Health, Bloomington Hospital. She was born July 23, 1936 in Indianapolis to Robert Milton Poteet and Georgia Chandler Jones Poteet. She was a Speech Pathologist in the Indianapolis Public Schools.
Survivors include two sons, Bruce (Lorena) Arbuckle of Tower Hill, IL and Jeff (Tina) Arbuckle of Bloomington; four grandchildren, Kyflin (Cody) Leitzman, Crystal (fiancé Travis) Tipton, Brandon Arbuckle and Paula Arbuckle; five great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kaylee, Paetyn, Kennedy and Cora; and her Morkie, Abby. She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Eddie Lee Arbuckle.
Memberships include St. Paul United Methodist Church in Bloomington and Gold Canyon United Methodist Church in Apache Junction. Nancy loved to travel, she had taken many trips abroad and enjoyed sharing those experiences. She enjoyed her winters in Apache Junction, spending time with her family and many friends and was quite the social butterfly. She was truly a good person through and through.
There will be a Gathering of Family and Friends on Friday, April 1st from 4:00 – 8:00 PM and Saturday from 1:00 -2:00 PM in Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home, 4150 E Third St. Funeral Services will be Saturday, April 2nd at 2:00 PM also in the Funeral Home with Rev. Dr. David Mullens officiating. Burial will follow in Valhalla Memory Gardens.
