Julie Ann “Judy” Warner Schmid, 87, of Bloomington died Friday, November 27, 2020 in her residence. She was born January 9, 1933 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Francis Edwin Warner and Jule Thorsen Warner. She was a retired Spanish Teacher.
Survivors include three daughters, Kathryn Page Sheil of Ellettsville, Kimberly (Rocky) Lane Anthony of Bloomfield and Debbie (Steve) Freeman of Bloomington; seven grandchildren, J. P., Micaela, Megan, Zach, Molly, Betsey and Jesse; two great grandchildren, Lili and Ryleigh; and many dear friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Edward Schmid; and a son, Paul E. Page.
Julie was a member of First Christian Church, the Daughters of the American Revolution, Mayflower Society and the Bloomington Symphony. She enjoyed eating cookies and drinking Diet Coke, scuba diving, snow skiing, telling jokes, travelling and spending time with family and friends.
Due to the current situation with Covid19, no services are being planned, there will be a Celebration of Life once things are more normalized. Arrangements are under the direction of Day & Deremiah-Frye Funeral Home.
