Fred Ray Lundy Jr.

Fred R. Lundy, Jr. died unexpectedly at his residence in Ellettsville on July 13, 2015. He was born in Bowling Green, KY to Fred and Helen(Hazel)Lundy on September 25, 1947. He was 67 years old. Fred is survived by his two children; Lorri Owings and Chris(wife Alice)Owings, three sisters; Patricia Porter, Sue Lundy, Debbie Keown and two brothers; Hobie and Gil Lundy. He is also survived by two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; Austin Fultz and his two daughters Anna and Allison and Brittany Owings and her two daughters Riley and Kennedy. He was blessed with many nieces and nephews, too many to list, but they know they were loved. Fred was preceded in death by his wife Sharon(Helms)Lundy in 2009, his parents; Fred and Helen Lundy and one son; James Owings. Fred was a truck driver for many years retiring from Hanna Trucking in 2012. He enjoyed fishing with his family and greatly missed his wife Sharon of 42 years. Fred loved people and never knew a stranger. Visitation will be held on Monday, July 20, 2015 from 11 a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. in Deremiah-Frye Mortuary Greene & Harrell Chapel, 700 W.
