Ronald Lee Cawthon, 83, of Havana, Illinois passed away on December 8, 2020. He was born on August 1, 1937 in Pittsfield, Illinois to Harold and Mildred (Jackson) Cawthon and married Lottie Fogle, on September 29, 1961 in Carlock, IL.
Ronald is survived by his son: Eric Cawthon; daughters: Stephanie Vaughn, Monica Terven; grandchildren: Shawn Cawthon, Josh Vaughn, Cody Vaughn, Erika Cawthon, Matthew Terven, Maureena Terven; brothers: Larry Cawthon, Frank Cawthon, Jack Cawthon, Wayne Cawthon; and sister: Karen Dehart.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, and brother: Jimmy Cawthon.
Ronald not only enjoyed woodworking and spending time with family and friends, but he also was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears as well as the Chicago White Sox and collected beer steins.
Graveside service will be held December 16, 2020 at 11:30am at East Lawn Memorial Gardens, Bloomington.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Community Cancer Center in Normal.
