September 06, 1985 ~ November 17, 2023
Our very much loved daughter; Rachelle Gipson-Mattocks, (38)~gained her wings and left this earth to join the angels on 11/17/23 from Mesa Arizona.
Rachelle was the first born child to; Daniel P. Mattocks Sr. and Christina R. Smith (Gipson). She arrived on Friday, September 6, 1985, a blessing from above and was loved so very much, even before she arrived! As a bonus, she was rewarded with her step parents; Jonathan Smith and Kimberly Mattocks (Wilkinson).
Later, she was given three younger brothers; Daniel Mattocks Jr. (Tabitha), Ryan Mattocks Sr. (Tamara), Brandon Mattocks (Lindzy) and a little sister Breanna Smith. All of whom she adored… she loved being a big sister!
She was blessed with such a big family~
(MATTOCKS-family) Aunts and Uncles;
Jesse (Denean), Lori, Lisa, Chris (Dave), Gene (Alma), Keith (Gretchen), Tommy (Brenda), Timmy, Rhonda, Annie (Dale) and 13 Nieces and Nephews;
(GIPSON-family) Aunts and Uncles;
Laurie (Joe), Lisa, Angela (Elvin), Andrew, Elizabeth (Ryan), Elizabeth (Dom) McDonald, Jeff Smith, Mike Smith, Kristi (Nick) Plaster and Kati (Chad) Brown
Along with so many Cousins that she cared for!
Her grandparents were very special to her as well; Paul & Mary Mattocks, Carol Harris, Charles & Sandy Wilkinson, Willam & Jeanne Gipson and Sandra Smith.
Rachelle was the proud mother to her only child; Madeline Rose, who inherited her mama’s dimples, smile and her natural beauty… her little “mini-me”. She loved her baby girl to the moon and back. Rachelle’s gentle, hippie soul is at peace, resting with the angels and our creator and all who met her at heaven’s gate.
Her visitation will be Saturday November 25, 2023, from 12:30 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Eastlawn Funeral Home 1102 Airport Road, Blm. IL 61704. Burial will be in East Lawn Memorial Gardens being laid to rest next to her Aunts; Lisa and Laurie.
