Mary A. Pinkham, 84, passed away April 13, 2024. She was born January 4, 1940, in Bloomington, IL to Arthur C. and Anna May (Melton) Stephens. Mary graduated from Bloomington High School. She married William John Pinkham on May 26, 1972, in El Paso, IL. They were married 52 years.
Mary started working at Modine Manufacturing in 1963 and worked there until the plant closed in 1984, then worked at Kathryn Beich/Nestle Company, retiring in 2001. She was a member of the IAM Lodge 1000, BTCGM Union and VFW Post 454. After retiring, she and John traveled in their RV for many years before settling down in Whitney, TX.
Mary is survived by daughter, Debbie (Bruce) Barker of Morehead, KY; grandchildren, Kenneth Edward Barlow of Marietta, OH; Justin (Heather) Barker of Normal; and Danielle Barker of Aurora; 8 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Her parents; one son, Kenneth E Barlow, Jr.; and three brothers, Arthur Jr., Leslie, and Edward Stephens, preceded her in death.
At her request, no services will be held. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
