Jean Kelly McCulley, 62, of Bloomington passed away on Tuesday morning, November 20, 2018 at Advocate BroMenn in Normal. She was born September 24, 1956 in Bethpage, New York, the daughter of Bernard and Elizabeth (Walker)Kelly. She married Michael McCulley in Clinton, IL on June 25, 2011.
Jean attended James Madison University in Virginia where she earned her bachelors degree in Business Administration. She worked at State Farm for 36 years and retired as a Director in Agency/Marketing. Jean spent much of her time volunteering for McLean County CASA for several years, and attended Calvary United Methodist Church in Normal. Jean was an amateur landscape photographer, and loved to read, travel and spend time with her children and grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Colin (Kimberly) Lancaster of Ann Arbor, Michigan; and Evan (Laura) Lancaster of Cedar Falls, Iowa; two daughters, Jocelyn McCulley of Normal; and Kylen (fiancé Brad Hockersmith) McCulley of St. Joseph, Illinois; and two grandchildren, Lydia McCulley and Sam Lancaster. She is also survived by a sister, Patricia Kelly of Charlevoix, Michigan; and brother Gregory (Donna) Kelly of Dallas, Texas.
Cremation rites will be accorded. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, November 28th at Calvary United Methodist Church in Normal. Visitation will take place two hours prior to services at the church. A private burial will take place at East Lawn Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Bloomington.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, Calvary United Methodist Church, or the McLean County CASA.
