James E. Burchett, 69, of Bloomington passed away October 1, 2022. He was born in Fort Campbell, KY on March 21, 1953 to George and Virginia (Simpson) Burchett. He married the love of his life, Connie Milam on October 19, 1974.
James was retired from Bradford Supply Co., where he worked for 37 years. Besides spending time with his wife and family, Jim loved to play guitar, to draw, to find humor whenever possible, and share those passions with others.
Surviving are his loving wife of 48 years: Connie; Children: Chris Burchett and Jamie Winner; Grandchildren: Blake and Reese Burchett and Sister: Georgina Funk; He is preceded in death by his mother and father: Virginia & George Burchett.
A public visitation will be held on Thursday, October 6, 2022 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington. A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 7, 2022 at 10:00 am at East Lawn Funeral Home, Bloomington. Burial will follow services at Park Hill Cemetery, Bloomington.
Serving as pallbearers are Chris Burchett, Blake Burchett, Wes Milam, Jessica Milam, Jamie Winner, Danielle Milam, Mark Cohenour and Adam Milam.
