She was born June 30, 1952 in Detroit, Michigan to William and Mary Elizabeth (Mantos) Sheppard. Destiny married Alexander Robertson in Bloomington on April 7, 1973. He passed away July 13, 2009.
She was also preceded in death by her parents and brother, Mark Sheppard.
Destiny is survived by her sister, Sally (Kirk) Janssen; two nephews, Michael (Bridgette) Sheppard and Timothy Sheppard; two great-nephews, Landon and Killian; one great-niece, Brooke.
Destiny loved to garden, and her family will always remember her as a blunt but funny person. More than anything, she loved her dogs, her beloved sheltie’s which she rescued from the shelter.
Cremation rites have been accorded. East Lawn Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. There are no services scheduled at this time.
