Born March 10, 1942 in Springfield, IL to Clovis and Estello (Dunkin) Harrell Sr.; he married Leanne Burnham on April 15, 1961 in Springfield. She survives of Normal.
Also surviving are his son, Duane (Svetlana) Harrell of Normal; grandchildren, Brandee Harrell (Joshua Schrieber) and Gosha Nikiforov; great grandson, Braven Rutkowski and his sister, Sharee.
Preceding him in death were his father and step-mother, Clovis and Dorothy Harrell; mother, Estello (Dunkin) Harrell; and brother, Larry D. Harrell.
Glen had worked as a welder, pipefitter and finally, retiring a machine operator from the Bridgestone-Firestone plant in Bloomington.
He was a US Navy veteran.
Glen will be remembered for his sense of humor- always kidding and joking with family and friends and he always had a joke for the room.
Cremation arrangements are under the care and direction of East Lawn Funeral Home in Bloomington.
