Augusta Anderson was born November 30, 1952 in Birdsong, Arkansas, where he attended Tyronza High School. He was born to Augusta Anderson Sr. and Dora Anderson. He came from humble beginnings, working his early years on the farm. He was baptized at Christ Temple Church and received the Holy Ghost.
Augusta is preceded in death by his brother: Lloyd Anderson; father: Augusta Anderson Sr.; and mother: Dora Anderson. He leaves behind his daughter: Shawanda Jones; and son: Lil Augusta Anderson Jr.
He leaves to mourn six sisters: Gussie (Lee) Williams of Bloomington, Leona Cook of Bloomington, Betty Foston of Delanel FL, Alice Harris of Deltona FL, Joyce (Nathaniel) Wakefield of Bloomington, Linda Reeves of Bloomington; one brother: Sammie (Gracie) Anderson of Pompano FL; three aunts: Leona Adams, Norma Jean, and Anda Anderson; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
