Following Andrew's wishes of cremation there will be a memorial graveside service at Funk's Grove Cemetery on September 22, 2012 at 3:00 pm with the Rev. Maurice Hilt and David Hartke officiating. East Lawn Funeral Home in Bloomington is in charge of arrangements.

Andrew was born October 10, 1961 in Aberdeen, MD, son of Lynn and Maureen Otte Cochran. He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother Leslie. Leslie’s cremated remains resided with Andrew and will be laid to rest with him.
Andrew is survived by his good friends Bradley and Andrea Beyer of Stanford; Stephen Smith of Bloomington; David Hartke of Decatur and Patrick (Judy) Daughty of Fremont, Nebraska. Also surviving are three half-brothers Michael of Shirley; Richard (Theresa) of New Hampshire; Norman (Millie Boyd) of Stanford. There are also many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
He attended Heyworth High School and Parkland College, Champaign. He also served in the 123rd Infantry of the Illinois Army National Guard in Bloomington.
Andrew loved the challenge of playing video games and role playing games. He especially looked forward to spending time with friends. He was an avid reader. He could engage easily in any conversation and all who met him instantly liked him. He will truly be missed.
