Katherine Barbone

Katherine “ Babe” Barbone (nee LaBadia) 92, passed away at her home in Belleville on April 2, 2017, surrounded by her loving children. She was the secretary for J & M Auto Repairing Co. Inc. in Belleville. Arrangements are by the Zarro Funeral Home, 145 Harrison St., Bloomfield.

Kindly be at the funeral home on Thursday by 9:00 am followed by a mass at 10:30am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Belleville. The burial will be at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Bloomfield. In lieu of flowers donations will be appreciated to Atlantic hospice, 465 South St., Morristown, NJ 07960. Katherine is survived by her loving children, RoseAnn Fornarotto and her husband, Thomas, Christine Wohltmann and Michael Barbone Jr.; cherished grandchildren, John, David and Kenneth Wohltmann, Michelle Waldman, Christa Lucas, Gina Azzi, and Michael Barbone; great grandchildren, Katelyn, Alyssa, Joseph, Samantha, Timothy, Vanessa, Aiva and Rome. She was predeceased by her husband, Michael Barbone Sr.; parents, Christina (nee Ippolito) and Pietro LaBadia; siblings, Mary Christiano, John LaBadia, Joseph LaBadia, Rose Pennisi, Sue Sisco, Antoinette Melucci, and Louis LaBadia; also survived by many nieces and nephews.
