Joseph G. Benenato

Joseph G. Benenato, age 79, of Bloomfield passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2020. Joseph was born to the late Frank and Anna (DelliSanti) Benenato. He lived most of his life in North Newark before moving to Bloomfield years ago. Joe was a Truck Driver for Overnite and Merit Distribution Center and also a member of the Disabled American Veterans of Belleville. He leaves behind his Loving wife of 54 years Frances (Murtagh) Benenato, his children, Joseph Jr and his wife Anna Carina & Michele and her husband Daniel Holler, his grandchildren, Daniel, Joseph Mark, and Nicholas, Siblings, Frank Benenato, James Benenato, Francine Benenato Vitovich, and Linda San Martin, many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends, as well as his granddogs Sunny, Cocao, and Havana. Joe is pre-deceased by his sister Marianne Benenato.

A memorial service for Joseph will be held Saturday, November 21, 2020 at 11:00 AM at St. Thomas The Aposte Church, 60 Byrd Ave., Bloomfield, NJ. All family and friends attending are asked to please arrive for 10:30 am, wear a facial covering and to practice social distancing at all times.
