Carmine A. Giardina, 85, of Bloomfield passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2013 at King James Care Center in Chatham, NJ.
Carmine was born in New York City and has lived in Bloomfield for the past 70 years. He was the co owner and operator of their family butcher shop “ Giardina’s Meat Market “ in Newark for over 60 years.
Funeral services will be conducted by the Zarro Funeral Home, (www.zarrofuneralhome.net), 145 Harrison St., Bloomfield, on Saturday June 15th, 2013 at 9:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 am at St. Francis Xavier Church, Newark. The entombment will follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Upper Montclair. Visitation is on Friday, June 14th from 3-7 pm.
He is survived by his twin brother, John Giardina and many loving and devoted nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his siblings, Dr. Anthony and Audrey Giardina and Concetta Campa.
