Antonio Nicolas Alessio, 4 years old of Nutley passed away on September 24, 2020. Antonio is the son of Nicola Spanos and Antonio Alessio; brother of Michaela Melchionda and Giulia Alessio; grandson of Biagio and Carmela Alessio, the late Joseph and Isabel Baulo, and the late William Spanos; great grandson of Francesco and Giulia Feraco; nephew of Gerardo and Corinthia Capozzoli, Albert and Judy Hudson, Luis and Annette Valentin, Carlos Massott and Joelle Baulo, Donna Alessio, and Helena Spanos; and his godparents Mac Hyppolite and Kellie Randazzo. He is also survived by many cousins and close friends who he absolutely adored.
Antonio was the light of his parent's lives. He was a beautiful baby boy with a beautiful soul. He was empathetic, loving, and caring. He touched the hearts of everyone that was in his life. To know him, was to love him. Antonio enjoyed riding his scooter, painting with his sisters, taking selfies, watching Spongebob and Paw Patrol, making dance videos, painting his nails, doing his makeup, making slime, or just being his moms' sidekick. Antonio was infatuated with police cars and police officers. His eyes would light up whenever they were near. He will be forever missed, loved, and cherished. He was taken before his time. We hope the memory of his smile will be remembered forever in the minds who knew him. I love you more, I love you most, was something that he said to his parents every day. If you ever hear that we hope it brings joy and comfort to your life.
