Born October 31st, 1937, Died January 10, 2020.
He was a Westland, Michigan resident for many years and came to live in Saginaw for a short time to be closer to his family. Edward was a Navy Veteran. He loved riding his Harleys and driving his Dune Buggies with his daughter and friends. Edward loved to golf. He enjoyed talking politics and he always had a great story to tell. Edward was a member of the Teamsters Union and drove Semi trucks for many years working for Long Transportation and B&B Trucking.
He was preceded in death by Father Leslie and Mother Anna, and Brother Leslie Ferenczi. He is survived by his daughter Janette Ivon, Son-in-law Craig Ivon, grandsons Keith Ryan Sipple, Nicholas James Ivon, and Russell Edward Ivon.
A Memorial Service will take place 4:30 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 2020 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 5376 State St., Saginaw, MI . Visitation will be from 4:00pm until time of service. Dinner following at the church until 7pm.
He will be buried at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly Michigan in the Spring. Date T.B.D.
