Vincent Alfano Jr., age 89, of Hoover, AL, passed away Monday, August 16th, 2021. A beloved husband, father, and grandfather. Mr. Alfano was a graduate of Ensley High School and The University of Alabama. He also retired from the Internal Revenue Service. Born in Birmingham, AL. to the late Vincent and Mary Alfano. Mr. Alfano is preceded in death by his loving wife, Bernadine Ann Lovoy; brothers, Tommy and Felix Alfano; sisters, Josephine A. Finocchio, Silena A. Calhoun, Patricia A. Schilleci, Gertrude and Virginia Alfano. He is survived by his two sons, Jack and Vince (Rosemarie); beloved granddaughters, Anna and Maria Alfano; sister, Mary Camp and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in Hoover on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, from 10-11 AM followed by a Funeral Mass, officiated by Very Reverend, Vernon Huguley. Burial will be at Elmwood Cemetery immediately following. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church.
