Vera G. Bryant

Vera was preceded in death by her husband G. L. Bryant (Tebo); her parents, Samuel & Dora Goodwin; son, William Mack Bryant, Sr.; and granddaughter, Virginia Blair Milam.

She is survived by son Lee Wayne Bryant (Cindy); daughter Missy Bryant Milam (Mike); daughter-in-law Loretta Bryant; grandchildren William Bryant (Tracy), Jeff Bryant (Stacie), Mack Bryant, Jr., Paige Leathers (Chris), Bryant Milam (Stacie), and Barrett Milam (Alissa); and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was owner of Bryant and Co. Construction Inc., a minority owned company which she ran after the death of her beloved Tebo in 1977. She worked until the age of 85. Vera was a lifelong resident of Chalkville, and a lifelong member of Taylor Memorial United Methodist Church. She was an active member of the United Methodist Women. She loved the arts, antique collecting, traveling, and gardening. Thank you to the nursing staff at The Village at Cook Springs and to Kindred Hospice.

Graveside service will be held Thursday, January 25 at 2:00 pm at Taylor Memorial Cemetery.
