Terry W. Jennings (Pops), age 71, of Milton, FL, formerly of Argo, AL, went to be with the LORD on Saturday January 20th after a lengthy health battle. Terry was a member of Margaret Street Church of Christ in Milton, FL. He retired from the United States Postal Service in 2007. He worked for Adesa, G4S, and Enterprise rental car after his retirement.
Terry was involved in helping kids in many aspects of his life including: coaching, working at church (including vacation Bible school), and umpiring. He always enjoyed seeing a child’s excitement after hitting a baseball. He was heavily involved in watching and cheering on his boys and grandchildren in their lives, especially their sporting events.
Terry is survived by Judy, his wife of almost 49 years; son, Josh (Stefanie) Jennings; grandchildren, Addie, Colton, Judsen, Jackson, and Cooper Jennings.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Hortense Jennings and son, Jake Jennings.
His celebration of life will be held on Saturday January 27th at Heritage Place Church of Christ at 2:00 pm. Family will receive visitors at 1:00 pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Maywood Christian Camp in Hamilton, AL, a very special place to the family.
