Sue G. Crow age 83 passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2012. She was born in Birmingham to William Feland and Fanny Sue Gillette. She graduated from West End High School. On July 26, 1948 she married George C. Crow. Sue worked at Social Security Payment Center for 43 years and in the children’s nursery at Berney Points Baptist Church for 22 years. She was a loving mother, friend, and worker. Her favorite interests were others, especially children and gardening. She will be missed by those still here, but will be welcomed into Heaven. Her strong faith in the Lord encouraged her giving spirit know that she gave as Christ gave His life for us. Sue is survived by her sister, Alice M. Fisler; her brother, William L. Gillette; children, Anna C. McDonald (Mark), Charles Thomas Crow (Kathy), and Sharon Lea Krafton (Justin); grandchildren, Jeffrey M. McDonald, Jennifer A. McDonald, David Crow, Daniel Crow, Christian Krafton, Cynthia Krafton; and one great granddaughter, Alexandria McDonald. Visitation will be Saturday, November 3, 2012 from 9:00-11:00 am at Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel. Funeral services will begin at 11:00 am and burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
