Sarah K. Fulmer, aka “Mamaw”, age 94 of Birmingham, AL passed away November 19, 2022. She was married for 68 years to Mickey H. Fulmer who preceded her in death on January 25, 2015. She was also preceded in death by two brothers and one sister. Sarah enjoyed her last few years playing dominoes, doing crossword puzzles and playing piano.
Sarah is survived by her three daughters, Jan Roper, Melanie (Tony) Lunsford and Lande (Keith) Williams. She had five grandchildren, John Blanton, Stephanie (Lonnie) Anderson, Talmadge Payne, Courtney Williams and Catherine Meadows. She also had five great grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held on November 26th 1:00 pm at Sulphur Springs Cemetery located at 7500 Roper Road, Trussville, AL.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her honor to Fountain of Love, 1424 Montclair Rd., Birmingham, AL 35210 associated with Fairhaven Retirement Center in recognition of the excellent care she received while living there.
