She is preceded in death by her parents, Giovanna and Cosimo Campisi; her siblings Virginia Sicola (Tony), Pauline DeJohn (Johnny), Tina Ranelli (Vincent), Angel Scalici (Vincent), Pete Campisi (Frances), Joe Campisi (Vita), Chris Campisi (Sarah), and Sam Campisi (Angie).
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Johnny Sperando. They were married on April 23, 1958, at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Ensley, Alabama.
Rosalee is survived by her children; Jenny Lutomski (Don), Michael Sperando (Elise), Marie Parker (Jim) and her grandchildren Allison Potter (Sloan), Emily Fields (Will), Mary Catherine and Anna Parker; Christopher, David, Mark and Erin Lutomski and great grandchildren Alexis and Camille Potter and Elizabeth Fields and numerous nieces and nephews.
Rosalee and her twin sister, Angel, were born on May 26, 1928 in Ensley, Alabama. Rosalee was a life long resident of Birmingham. She was an active member of St. Joseph’s Altar Rosary Sodality and a generous church and school volunteer until her move to Hoover in 1998 where she then became a member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Her greatest joys were cooking and spending time with her family. She will be missed by all.
A visitation will be held at Prince of Peace Catholic Church on Monday, February 17, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. followed by Mass at 11:00 a.m. Burial to follow at Elmwood Cemetary
