Ronald "Ronnie" R. Whitten Jr.

WHITTEN, RONALD R. JR. “RONNIE”, age 62 of Birmingham, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December 21, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ronald Sr. and Mary Rose Whitten. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Toni Graves Whitten; sons, Steven Whitten (Denise) and Jackson Whitten (Samantha); sister, Rhonda Jones; brother, Donnie Whitten (Shelly); granddaughter, Isabel Whitten; parents-in-law, Jimmy and Imagene Graves; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. Ronnie graduated from Banks High School in 1975 where he was the kicker on the football team known as “The Golden Toe”. He worked in the family commercial electrical business for 40 years and currently worked at the Riverchase Galleria and The Home Depot. Ronnie was a member of First Baptist Church of Trussville and loved to volunteer with the Men on Mission. He was a wonderful husband, father and G-daddy and will be missed dearly. His family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 from 12-2 at First Baptist Church of Trussville with his service beginning at 2 PM. Burial will follow at Forest Hill Cemetery.
