She was born in Mississippi on February 1, 1940, to the late Clifford and Charlene Wells. Patricia graduated from Woodlawn High School and worked as a Dental Hygienist until her retirement.
Patricia’s most treasured title was that of mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She showed that motherly love toward everyone she encountered. Her caring personality, class, and sense of humor will be missed by all who knew her. Patricia enjoyed crafting and gardening and was a member of Cahaba Springs Presbyterian Church in Trussville.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Charlene Wells; her son, Morris Harwood, Jr.; and her sister, Marlene Wells.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of 46 years, Stewart H. Pace; her children, Michael (Vin) Harwood; and Kelly H (Denis) Waldrop; three grandchildren, Mitchell (Audrey) Harwood; Evan Harwood; and Sydne Waldrop; a great-grandchild, Ryleigh Grace Harwood; sister, Neller Panos; along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and classmates.
The family would like to thank Kay McDaniel, St. Vincent’s Hospital, the attending physicians and nurses, along with the staff at St. Vincent’s Home Health and Med-South Inc. for the care they gave Pat.
Visitation will be at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel on Thursday, November 15, 2018, from 11:00 – 12:30 PM. Funeral Service will begin at 12:30 PM with the Rev. Dawson Harmon officiating.
