Patricia Ann Dodson Bailey

Patricia Ann Dodson Bailey, age 71 of Birmingham, AL passed away Tuesday October 6th surrounded by family and close friends. Born in Decatur, AL, and raised in Jasper, AL, Pat attended Walker County High School and Walker Junior College. She retired in 2009 from BBVA Compass after 36 years of service in the foreclosure department. She was a member of Oakmont United Methodist Church for many years. Pat was a most kind and gracious southern lady who always believed the best in everyone. Her family and friends will fondly remember her beautiful white hair, her love of hot tea, and her devotion to her beloved furry grandchild, Kooper. She was a devoted wife, mother, and friend whose presence will surely be missed. She was proceeded in death by her father Robert R. Dodson and daughter Leigh Ann Bailey. She leaves to cherish her memory her mother Edith W. Dodson of Jasper, AL; her husband Peer S. Bailey, daughter Kristin R. Bailey of Birmingham, AL; 7 nieces, 4 nephews; and a host of relatives and very devoted friends.
