Mary Sue Brand was born November 9,1925 in Fairfield, Alabama and died June 25,2016 at Heritage Health Care and Rehab inTuscaloosa, Alabama. Services will be Thursday at 11 am at Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel Reverend Bobby Scales officiating. Visitation will be at 10AM, one hour prior to service. A private burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.Preceded in death by her parents James C. and Lottie Wilson Brand and sisters Frances Brand Harless and Willie Mae Brand Jones.Survivors include nephews Calvin Jones (Margaret) and Jim Harless (Jean); nieces Patty Clark (Bill) and Barbara Gance (Joe) and many special cousins, grandnephews and grandnieces and their families. Mary Sue loved her family, friends, and church, dedicating her life in service to others. She especially loved serving all those who were her customers at Loveman's, Pizitz, Parisian and Belk. She wanted to give thanks to the staff of Heritage Health Care and Rehab, Hospice of West Alabama, residents and staff of Princeton Towers for their friendship and special care. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations to Hospice of West Alabama, 3851 Loop Road, Tuscaloosa, AL 35404.
