Maria Jocelyn Angulo Goodwin, of Hueytown passed away Saturday, July 8, 2017. She was a long time employee with Elmwood Cemetery and Ridout’s Elmwood Chapel. Jocelyn was consistently recognized as a company wide top performer. She was born and raised in the Philippines and earned her Master’s Degree in Management from the University of Phoenix in Phoenix, AZ. She is survived by a host of loving family and friends. Her service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, July 17, 2017 at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church and the family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in her memory to the Filipino American Association of Greater Birmingham, 2097 Chalybe Way, Hoover AL 35226.
