Louise was born on August 30, 1928 in Cooper, Alabama. She was a member of several churches throughout her life; Chestnut Creek Baptist Church, Ruhama Baptist Church, South Roebuck Baptist Church and Hunter Street Baptist Church.
She graduated from the Alabama College for Women. She had a passion for music; singing in and teaching choir over the years.
After graduating college, Louise taught school for a few years as well as Sunday school. Her grandchildren can tell you that her chocolate cake was the best in the world. She made the same cake, without fail, for every single one of their birthdays. That’s a total of 64 cakes! She was outgoing, loyal and had a wonderful sense of humor. She could always laugh her way out of any situation. A blessing to everyone who knew her, she will be dearly missed.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 8 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Hunter Street Baptist Church, 2600 John Hawkins Parkway, Hoover, AL. 35244. Visitation will precede the service
