Louise, age 96, passed away Sunday, March 29, 2015. She had a wonderful life. She was a Baptist by faith. She was an avid animal lover, a loyal fan of the Atlanta Braves and Auburn Football. She was a member of the Heart O’ Dixie Camping Club for 30 years, a member of the Camping Cutups fun band. She played the part of Minnie Pearl. She and her first husband of 35 years, James E. “Jake” Osborn, who preceded her in death, camped or traveled in 43 states plus Mexico and Canada. She was also preceded in death by her second husband of 11 years, Thomas H “Cotton” Bryant; son, Robert “Bob” Osborn, her brother, Glenn Farlow; and two sisters, Geraldine Farlow Miller and Juanita Farlow Bragan. Louise is survived by her daughter Janice Osborn Waldrop (Robert); granddaughters, Lindsey Waldrop and Caitlin Neeley (Jimmy); great grandson Aiden and soon to be great grandson Easton. She is also survived by four nieces and one nephew whom she loved very much and fondly called her “Louie”. She spent many happy times with granddog Sophie and great granddog Cosmo. The family will receive friends at Elmwood Chapel from 10:00 to 11:00 am on April 2nd, 2015. A celebration of Louise’s life will follow at 11:00 am at Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Birmingham Humane Society.
