Louise Smith Bailey

Bailey, Louise Smith age 92, died Friday November 28, 2014. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church, Pleasant Grove, AL; former member of First Baptist Church, Midfield. She was a graduate of Pell City High School, a graduate of Auburn University, a member of Alabama Pharmacist Association, a life member of Auburn Alumni Assoc. and Auburn Golden Eagles; a member of the Order of Eastern Star Cunningham Chapter #24, former member Midfield Lioness Club and retired co-owner of Bailey Leggett Rexall Drug, Midfield. She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Hubert C. Bailey, parents Leetha H. and Norman S. Smith, brother Norman S. Smith, Jr, sister Frances S. Williams and niece Carolyn E. Turner. She is survived by sister Evelyn S. Turner, and special niece Cynthia Bailey Childress and nieces Stacie Accola, Gayle Morris, Annabelle B. Usher, Carol Bailey, and Brenda Kinsey and nephews Todd Williams, A K Bailey, Radford Childers, and Buford Cox, Jr. and numerous great nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Elmwood Chapel, Monday, December 1, 2014 10:00 followed by the service at 11:00 with the Reverend Rick Cato officiating. Burial at Eastaboga Baptist Church Cemetery, Eastaboga, AL. Elmwood Chapel Funeral Home directing.
