John “Lane” Rockwell, Jr., age 56, a native and lifelong resident of Center Point, AL passed away on October 23, 2023. He was a graduate of Erwin High School class of 1986. Lane was a devoted employee for Kent Corporation for 37 years where he served as a machinist.
Lane was preceded by his parents, John Lane Rockwell, Sr. and Frances Rockwell. He is survived by his sisters, Lori Steadman (Vincent) and Jane Jones (Tommy); his niece, Brittney Jones; his nephews, Russell Steadman and Cory Jones; also leaves behind his aunts, Wanda Johnson, Glenda Franklin (Joe) and Sandra Davis; numerous cousins and extended family.
The funeral service for Lane will be held on Thursday, October 26th at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with visitation held one hour prior to the service. Burial will immediately follow the chapel service at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville, AL.
