She was born in Birmingham, Alabama to Duke and Thelma Graham on February 29. 1924.
Jeanette and Bob made their home in Birmingham and then Springville until his death and her illness.
They had a deep faith and were very active in their churches. She was instrumental in starting and working in the Central Park Baptist Church children’s day care program.
She is predeceased by her husband Bob and a son Joel Glaze. She is survived by a son Robert A. Glaze, Jr of Greensboro, Georgia and a daughter Janet Glaze Neugent of Greenville, South Carolina. She was called Mama Net by her 5 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends on Friday February 8th from 11 AM until noon at Elmwood Chapel Funeral Home Birmingham, Alabama with a celebration of Jeanette’s life to follow at noon. Burial at Elmwood cemetery.
Memorials in lieu of flowers may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, The Diabetic’s Foundation or American Heart Association.
