Jan Frances Harrison

Jan Harrison went home to be with the Lord on September 10, 2021. She was preceded in death by her father, Terrell Latham and husband, Wayne Harrison. She is survived by her children, Matthew Harrison (Karen), Blake Harrison (Brittani), and Mary Beth Vines (Ben); grandchildren, Jacob Harrison, Nicholas Harrison, Alexis Harrison, Avalyn Vines, and Holland Harrison; mother, Mary Ann Latham; brother, Rick Latham; sister, Dana Moore; sister, Mary Leigh Latham; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Jan lived her life as a devoted mother to her children, grandmother to her grandchildren, and daughter to her parents. She was selfless and giving. Her joy came from her family and her faith. She was a DIY expert, who loved to build fairy gardens with her grandchildren. Jan loved the outdoors. Traveling was always a favorite thing for her, especially on family trips to Disney. She had a passion for gardening and all animals. Jan was also an avid Alabama fan.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Alabaster, where she served in the nursery, Bible studies, food drives, and her favorite was VBS.

The family will host a visitation at First United Methodist Church of Alabaster on Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at 1pm. A memorial service will follow at 2pm.
