James "Jim" Tunney Russell Jr.

Jim graduated from the University of Alabama and was formerly employed by the State of Alabama.

A visitation for Jim will be held Friday, March 31, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Johns-Ridout's Funeral Parlors, 2116 University Blvd, Birmingham, AL 35233, in the West Chapel, followed by a memorial service at 11:00 AM.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests making donations to Jim's favorite organization, The O'Neal Library in Mountain Brook. 50 Oak St, Mountain Brook, AL 35213.
