Henry Milford Jackson Jr., 93, of Birmingham, AL passed away on March 11, 2018. He was born to the late Henry Sr. and Mana Jackson in Birmingham on December 10, 1924. He was preceded in passing by his brother, Jimmy Jackson. He is survived by his daughters, Debra Jackson and Janet Prevatt (Chip); grandchildren Trey Prevatt (Meagan) and Rachael Johnson; 4 great-grandchildren; and other close relatives and friends.
Henry, affectionately known as “Pepaw,” was a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and friend. He proudly served his country during WWII in the United States Navy. Pepaw was a member of Masonic Lodge #633 (Huffman Lodge) as a 3rd Degree Master Mason. He was highly and joyfully involved with his church, Liberty Park Baptist. Pepaw also enjoyed playing pool and was an Auburn fan. He will be deeply missed by those who knew and loved him.
Visitation will be held Friday, March 16 from 1-2 pm at Ridout's Trussville Chapel, 1500 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235. Service will follow at 2 pm. Interment at Forest Crest, Irondale, AL.
