Hastine T. Chandler

Hastine Taylor Chandler passed away on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, at the age of 88. Mrs. Chandler was originally from Tuscaloosa County. She was born on November 15, 1933. Hastine was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her family has always been her heart and purpose. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Lee and Lessie (Watson) Taylor, and two brothers, Vanus Lee Taylor and Robert Amon Taylor. She is survived by her loving, devoted and ever-present husband, Thomas E. (Pete) Chandler of 66 blessed years; her daughters, Barbara Dale (Bill) Faircloth; Patricia Gale (Patti) Chandler; three grandchildren, Matthew (Lindsay) Faircloth, Allison Faircloth, and Fallon Avery; three great-children, Nathan, Drew and Emily Faircloth; five sisters, Christine Broughton, Eulene Cargile, Jean Wilburn, Sue (James) White, and Marie Corsentino; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

A visitation for Hastine will be held Sunday, December 5, 2021, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Ridout's Trussville Chapel, 1500 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235. A funeral service will occur Sunday, December 5, 2021, at 12:00 PM, 1500 Gadsden Hwy, Birmingham, AL 35235. An interment will occur at Conn Cemetery, 5920 Gallant Road, Gallant, AL 35972.
