RITCHEY, EDNA GEORGE Born December 14, 1919 in Luxora, AR fell asleep in the Lord on July 15, 2012 in Birmingham, AL at age 92. She is preceded in death by her parents Rose S. & George A. George, Sr. Brothers William George, George A. George, Jr., Fred George, Sister, Adele G. Shibley. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, Salem E. Ritchey and children Carolyn (John) Dykes, Jimmy Ritchey, Julie Ann Miles, Bill (Mary Jo) Ritchey, Cathy (Terry) Sharp, 10 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild, and many beloved family members. She was a member of St. George Melkite Greek-Catholic Church. Visitation will be at St. George Melkite Greek-Catholic Church on Wednesday, July 18 at 10:00 am with the funeral service at 11:00. Burial at Elmwood Cemetery. The family request memorials be made to St. George Melkite Greek Catholic Church, 425 16th Avenue South, Birmingham, Alabama 35205 or their favorite charity.
