Dorothy Ann Davis

Dorothy Ann "Dot" Davis, age 86, of Birmingham Alabama passed away Monday, August 15, 2022. She was a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, and former member of the Ladies Altar Sodality. Dot was a retired Registered Nurse from St. Vincent's Hospital. She was a graduate of the Hillman School of Nursing at the University of Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Harold B. Davis; her parents: Jefferson H. and Ina W.Brown and her sister, Patsy B. Mundi. Survivors include her daughter, Paula J. Davis-Olwell (Patrick); sons: Clifford H. Davis (Lisa), James E. Davis (Valerie) and Joseph D. Davis (Kathy); grandchildren: Rebecca A. Geise (Austin), Amelia L. Davis, Sophia M. Davis, Anna O. Roberts (Nate), Jordan E. Crane (Allen), Matthew J. Olwell (Emily K. Oleson) and Aaron P. Olwell; great-grandchildren: Lydia Jade Olwell and Madilyn Olivia Roberts.

A public visitation will be held on Thursday, August 18, 2022 from 1:00pm-2:00pm in the chapel of Johns Ridout's Elmwood Chapel located at 800 Dennison Ave. SW Birmingham, Alabama 35211 with a funeral mass to follow at 2:00pm. Burial will follow immediately in Elmwood Cemetery.
