Don Garrett Landers, 75, of Birmingham, passed away on January 8, 2022. Don was the son of Frank Marshall Landers and Mildred Nicholson Landers. He was a graduate of Woodlawn High School and Samford University. Don retired from Baptist Medical Center and was the owner of Appliance Contractor. He was a member of the Church at Liberty Park (Woodlawn) for 68 years. Don is survived by his wife of 43 years, Phyllis Drummonds Landers; daughter, Rebekah Payne; three grandchildren, Emma Grace, Ava Kate, and Bennett Payne; and his twin sister, Dianne Fuqua.
The visitation will be Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 10 am at Elmwood Chapel Funeral home, with a graveside service to follow at 11 at Elmwood Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation in Don’s memory to The Church at Liberty Park’s Guatemalan Mission.
