MORTON, DAVID C., age 56 of Birmingham, passed away Thursday, November 21, 2019. He was preceded in death by his father, Howard C. Morton. He is survived by his mother, Jean C. Morton; brothers, Schley C. Morton (Traci), James H. Morton (Fay) and Kenneth W. Morton; nieces and nephews, Nikki Morton, Joseph Morton (Jessie), Scott Morton (Ashley) and Christopher Morton; and great nephew, Samuel Morton. David graduated from Banks High School and earned his Associates Degree from Bessemer Tech in Computer Aided Design and Drafting. His proudest achievement was being a cancer survivor. David was a member of McElwain Baptist Church and formerly employed at Hardy Engineering. He was a big Alabama football fan and enjoyed music and attending concerts. His family will celebrate his life on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel from 3-4 with a memorial service at 4:00.
