Danny Duckett

Danny Duckett , age 66 of Irondale, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2020. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, and grandfather who was very much loved and will be greatly missed. He enjoyed being outdoors fishing and watching his Alabama Crimson Tide play football. Danny also enjoyed studying his Bible. He served his church as a Sunday school teacher and in many other capacities when needed. He and his wife Vickie were members of McElwain Baptist Church for years and later joined First Baptist Church of Trussville. But most of all he loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Duckett. Danny is survived by his wife Vickie Miller Duckett; sons, Dana Duckett (Misty) and Kevin Duckett (Tonya); his mother, Dean Duckett; brothers, Randy Duckett and Tim Duckett; his loving grandchildren, Koal Duckett, Jake Duckett, Peyton Duckett, Ella Duckett, and Sawyer Duckett.

Services will be held on Saturday, September 19th at Ridout’s Trussville Chapel with chapel services beginning at 2pm and visitation one hour prior to service time. Interment will follow in Trussville Cemetery.
